About me
My son Kurtis is now a senior in college. He goes to anarchy university, AKA Evergreen State University in Olympia, WA. I'm very proud of him because he made the deans list his very first semester! I guess the acorn or is it a nut doesn’t fall too far from the tree? If you are a wine connoisseur (or gulper) you will be happy to note that in a previous life I owned a wine store – it was so much fun! I’m fairly good at reading a menu and selecting something that will work with your meal of choice or just for quaffing. I can dress up or down depending on the occasion. Don’t need any fancy restaurant to have fun - just a smile, great conversation and someone who likes being with me. I've recently concluded reading THE EMPEROR'S HANDBOOK - Marcus Aurelius (the emperor at the very start of the movie Gladiator), and I just love one of his writings: "Think of all the good reasons we have given our friends to be happy to be rid of us"!
